JULIETTE CARBONNIER

Juliette Carbonnier (she/her) is a performer, writer, comedian, artist, singer, composer and designer born and raised in New York City, where she attended arts-focused public schools.
She graduated from Princeton University in 2024 with a B.A. in English, with certificates in Creative Writing, Music Theater and Theater. Juliette wrote/produced/designed/performed Bodywork, a dark comedy, for her thesis, which won her the Alan S. Downer Prize and the Francis LeMoyne Page Prize. She also wrote Funeral Theatrics, a poetry collection, under the guidance of Ilya Kaminsky. During her time at Princeton, Juliette was part of Quipfire! Improv Comedy, The Princeton Triangle Club Writer’s Workshop, and Princeton’s All-Nighter Late Night Talk Show.
Currently, Juliette is the recipient of Princeton’s Martin A. Dale ’53 Fellowship for 2024-2025.
Juliette loves collaborating and working across different mediums and genres of storytelling. Recently, she's been thinking a lot about dumpsters, mimes, the Bund, and soil. Through her art, Juliette strives to bring kindness, community, accessibility, and change to the world in small, personal, but (hopefully) meaningful ways.
